Between the two coasts, there is a choir of children who are moving from East to West, from South to North. Their breath is life, joy, playfulness. But it is also suffering, pain, agony and even…death.
The choir sings the quasi metaphysical sound of the vowel a, the maximum level of openess, and then whispers; then sings two arab words: bahr e harb, sea and war. Same letters, opposing meanings. Then it shouts.
The young voices are divided in four groups, as the cardinal points, and create a play of sounds who chase one another from East to West, from South to North.
